Original Email Received in Jan 2019 Om Shanti Shiv Baba, I am student soul of New Guwahati Brahmakumari center. Yesterday dated 02/01/2019 in the evening, outside near the gate of this New Guwahati Brahmakumri center, a dog was lying and crying in pain. He couldn't move and his one leg was shivering and so his body was also. It was very cold. My mom and one aunty bought biscuits and gave it to him. With his tear on eyes and lying on ground he ate that. My mom told me about this incident when she came back to home as I didn't go to center yesterday because of my illness. We were really hopeful that the behenjis and bhaijis who work there everyday and stay long in the center, they will sort out this issue. If they need money for petrol and ask everyone for contributions, no one will refuse, because everyone wanted to help the dog and everyone respects Behenji's request. Surprisingly it seems a careless issue for the Behenjis and young Bhaijis, who are all the time ready to give "seva". We asked the Behenji and Bhaiji of the center today about the that dog. But they simply, sweetly, innocently replied we don't know which I was not expecting from them at all. How could they be such inhumane after being so much dedicated to God. Is this kind of " Seva" or service our beloved God Shiv Baba want everyone to do "ignore others pain", even in front of eyes? I want answer from Brahamkumari as it relates to them. We few girls were discussing about this, all of them were not expecting such ignorance from brahmakumaris. I believe in Nirakar Baba and will always respect him. Centre brother/sister made a mistake when they did not attend you (in case you asked them for help). But you didn't mention if you did ask or not for their help? You made a mistake as you didn't know the reason of their silence or non-helping. Do you know if that were aware of this or nor? You simply judged and expected a lot. You should have simply asked them if someone is free to help. Also as you created a big matter from a small event. You also spread your opinion about this. Isn't it? I will tell you a greater general truth of life. So listen: '' What is a real help to someone, depends on many aspects. Not necessary that giving somebody what they ask for is a help to them. No. Sometimes if you not give them they want, they shall find their own way and by doing this, they develop and grow themself. They become better.'' The essence is that Was it not the magic of that place, that many people gathered to help a poor dog, while you yourself know that such does happen rarely... Didi or the sister or brothers did not help directly. So someone else got the opportunity. Anyway, ofcourse i know that they did not do this deliberately. There must be a reason. If they did not react even after knowing, they made a mistake. Shortly, this event became a medium for you to connect to this Godly service named as ''Shiv Baba Service'' where every new or old souls get answers as Shiv baba's Shrimat. The best answer. I feel we teachers are the one profession whose foundation should b the strongest. The teachers are losing the essence of teaching due to multiple factors. We are no longer the GURUS in true terms, it has sadly become a crude business n the young citizens of India HV become very vulnerable to all the negatives things. Mother came in Gyan and adapted to being vegetarian. Son, being non-veg didn't like this sudden transformation and asks us why is it necessary to quit non-veg food so that to go ahead in Spirituality. Question: You are not doing any service.. you brahma kumaris are just and another who does no service to humanity. Can we derive that people who are poor, diseased, orphans are because of their karma? They have to resolve it in the present life. So should we not feel mercy on them?? Our Response/ Answer Dear Divine Brother/Sister Good morning The functioning of Karma and karmic accounts is very complex. So you cannot say that everyone who is poor are those who did bad karma. No. Instead, you can say that those who are poor or less fortunate have made their life with karma and decisions + also know that many other things interfere. As this is kaliyug (old world) there can happen anything with a proper reason. For example, if government takes away shelter or increases tax on poor people, it is not poor person's karma but they will suffer - it is not in their hands. There are many such examples when our life is shaped also because someone else interferes. MERCY? All human souls, animals and the entire nature needs mercy. Everything is patit (tamopradhan). Every soul needs our mercy in one or other way. Some - because they are poor - but there are many who are rich (money wise) but have no good relationship or they remain in depression and stress. This is our advise on how to forgive someone with an understanding of our past life Karmic accounts. Here, a person was fighting a case against someone in court. Their karmic account will be settled ONLY when they both forgive each other. Original Email Received I watch most of the speeches of Shivani mam and she told that we should not have negative thoughts for anyone and forgive others. I am a working woman and lost my husband after 2 months of marriage. From that time one of my colleague has been torturing me mentally and forcing to marry him. I have lodge a F. I.R. against him. Case is pending in the court. So how can i not have negative thoughts for that person and how can I forgive him? Should i take back my case against him? Kindly show me right path.
