One point that is often highlighted in the murlis is that “The whole drama, of which we are a part, is pre planned and lawful. It is a cycle that repeats itself every 5000 years.” Baba often says that “Kalp pehle jo hua tha wahi hoga, Kalp pehle jinhone purusharth kiya tha wahi aage bhi karenge.” It has also been said in the murlis that every soul has got a role to play in the drama and by doing purusharth one can get rid of the patit nature and could attain liberation. But these two ideas appear to be contradictory. If the role of a soul is already determined then where does the law of karma/voluntary actions (that we choose to perform) come into play? For instance, Duryodhana had got the most important role to play in Mahabharata. And if he hadn’t performed those evil actions, it would not have led the Pandavas realize their potential and Arjuna to reveal Gita. But what about Duryodhana’s opportunity to get liberation? This is our advise on how to forgive someone with an understanding of our past life Karmic accounts. Here, a person was fighting a case against someone in court. Their karmic account will be settled ONLY when they both forgive each other. I am a working woman and lost my husband after 2 months of marriage. From that time one of my colleague has been torturing me mentally and forcing to marry him. I have lodge a F. I.R. against him. Also, by sending negative thoughts, you will deepen the karmic account which is already there... So instead, one should learn and master the self instead of trying to have control over others. Forgiveness is simple. Just think - ''The act he performed will only affect his own karma, not mine. But whatever I will respond, will affect me only.''
