But how to control our emotions and not react to other people's comments? This is your question. Here is our guidance for you. What is Emotion? E-motion is ''energy in motion''. Energy is the soul's energy when comes into action through the mind, it becomes 'e-motion'. This such energy if applied to the right place, in a right direction then actually it is a great benefitter. That means - if you use your emotions for a right purpose, they are helpful (a boost). Emotion is nothing but out ability (virtue) to connect to other person's heart. But this is not always beneficial. Sometimes, our emotion overcomes our sixth sense and past experiences, which lead us to make mistakes. Thus to say - we must always listen to our experience and our intellect (buddhi) and not fall into the flow of uncontrolled emotions - whether it is people's behavior towards us or our own judgements. Using Emotion as Positive For example, if you are emotional about that you cannot see others in pain and you cry with them. Ok, this is a weakness in itself. BUT if you are a doctor, then such emotions actually help you to connect emotionally with your patients. This then helps you in healing them better. Spiritual Understanding Anyway, since this is a general feeling, one desires to become emotionally strong. That is the way towards Spiritual awakening. When you realise that you are not this physical body or anything of matter, but a pure ''soul'' and everyone (every living being) is a 'soul' who is using their body to experience life. And that ''we all are brothers and sisters', children of one incorporeal GOD (Supreme Soul) then all such weakness will disappear. Answer: If you get upset for someone's comment on you, then you are just taking it too much seriously. Realise that this does not affect the truth. I have a long story to tell so please be patient because i really need your help..My father and mother were following gyan and baba for more than 15 years and we have geetapaathshala in our home. They have two daughters, me and my elder sister. My father wished me and my sister to become brahmakumaris. Though he never forced us to go to ashram or to do anything. He left the decision on us. My sister got married in 2010. In 2016, i told my father that i want to marry a boy and that boy does not belong to our caste. My father was very upset with my decision, still he supported me and advised me to do court marriage. Only I and my parents knew about my marriage and i came to canada after marriage. Our relatives had no idea about my marriage. But my father shared his pain with brahmakumari sister of the ashram which we used to visit. He was very upset at that time but very soon he realised that the boy i married is really a good boy and my father and mother were happy for me. We used to talk daily on phone. Then on 21st may 2018 my parents passed away in a car accident. People who were at that place where accident happened told that it was the truck driver’s fault who came from wrong side and hit my parents car. It took me 24hrs to reach india but by that time their antim yatra had already been done and i could not even see them for the last time. Two days later, the brahmakumari sister from the same ashram came to meet me and in front of all my relatives blamed me for sudden death of my parents. She started shouting at me that because of me my father was depressed. The way that sister was talking to me was like i am responsible for that car accident that took my parents lives. I know initially my parents were upset about my love marriage but now they were really happy with my husband and me. My father himself said to me that initially we felt bad but now we are glad with your decision. I just want to know should i believe my father’s words that he said to me or i should believe that brahmakumari sister. Am i really responsible for my parents death?  Our Answer: To: Madhuri Sweet divine Sister This is a response to your question and also a Godly sandesh (message). First of all, your father was not upset because of the person with whom you married, but because of that  you decided to marry instead of becoming a brahma kumari . Father was in Gyaan and knew that God has directed to us of complete purity . This is our last birth. World is changing. You can see. But Shiv baba has told never to force your children to not to marry. Hence you father made a correct decision. All is good. But forgiiveness should come with 'understanding' (knowledge). What should we understand? Answer: We are brahman souls, who are in direct sustenance given by God himself. You subjected the letter as 'sin'. But you must first know if it is really so. It is difficult to accurately understand the accounts of karma - what is right action (punya), what is wrong action (sin) or what is in-action (that which does not give any fruit). God sits and explains. In essence, those karma (action) which gives you and others 'peace of mind', which gives inner-satisfaction, is the right Karma. You have judged and concluded that it is a sin. But it is not. It is instead a ''mistake''. Mistake may lead to a sin - so be aware. Mistake s when you first encounter a new experience. Then you judge if that is right or not. Giing up addiction is a matter of simple understanding, which is acheived by Self realisation (who am i). As you follow the shrimat, the one who follows the shrimat are surrendered. Is it possible to follow the shrimat 100% while staying with loukik family and fulfiling loukik responsibility? Yes. Definitely. There are many examples of this. Most of baba's children stay at home and study and also do a good service. I am writing this. I also live with loukik family and do all these services. So can you not? If you find it hard to do Purusharth while staying at your loukik home, then is it a weakness or strength of soul? Who is better? 1. One who does service at centre 2. One who does service while staying at home (with balance in both - loukik and aloukik) Who will be better? What does shrimat say? Shrimat says: Become pure and take the Gyaan while staying at your place. Freedom is given to all - some are comfortable to stay at home and follow 100% shrimat & some are unable to do this and hence they prefer staying at a centre.
